The unhappiness and division in the world are a result of using the wrong scientific paradigm to try to solve those problems. It is as if the arms and legs of science are not listening to the head of science.

Why is this a global problems? What is the cause?

The problem is not just in America, but is worldwide. Mental Health — anxiety and depression symptoms among people in Singapore alone are estimated at  nearly $16 billion a year, or about 2.9 per cent of the nation’s gross domestic product. There is a solution and we have it.

The problem is an existential false premise in science. The error gives rise to Darwinism and current institutions which regulate rather than empower people.

An overall negativity pertaining to human nature is like a virus that has given rise to false theories in all philosophies worldwide.

EN CLIENT: Why did you offer a new book this year at no cost?

EASTWOOD: There are conflicts and violence worldwide that tell me the majority are creating by default, are divisive or both.

CLIENT: But why an all-ages book?

EASTWOOD: Someone told me that mental health expenditures in Singapore are estimated at nearly $16 billion (about $49 per person in the US) a year, a nation of only 5.5 million people, and the problem is not exclusive to adults.

CLIENT: Why are you focused on Singapore?

EASTWOOD: A very kindhearted man in Singapore emailed me and brought the problem to my attention with statistics. Yang Changshi asked me to write something that could help the children in Singapore. He was focused on the number of children committing suicide and wanted me to help.

CLIENT: Singapore is a long way away; how did you meet this person?

EASTWOOD: He had been on my daily affirmation page for some time, and it had been working for him, and he wanted to give it to the children in their schools in a format that would be geared for very young children. That’s what he cared about, and I can understand why.

CLIENT: Is the problem worse in Singapore than the US?

EASTWOOD: The problem is everywhere. Recently, I learned that attempted suicide by children, ages 10 to 12, has shown a 73% increase in the U.S.  What I am seeing is a worldwide problem, but because Yang Changshi was so persistent in emailing me and people in the government of Singapore, I was impressed with his initiative. He was sending everyone all these statistics to do something about it, to help the kids. It was obvious to me that we needed to do something. I then realized that his idea for a free printout or book was a good idea.

CLIENT: A small item that he could print for free?

EASTWOOD: Yes.

CLIENT: How has that worked out for you?

EASTWOOD: I can’t offer books for free on major distribution platforms like Lulu.com and Amazon because they charge fees. That’s when I decided to offer something for free direct from my six websites. I learned how to create an illustrated small book with a new program. Many people like it and are downloading it, but I have no way to tell how far it has gone.

CLIENT: You have a good heart to want to help children.

EASTWOOD: I want to help everyone. I have put some material on manifesting that young adults would like, and more advanced material for everyone in the book. It’s for all ages.

CLIENT: Are you satisfied with this project and how it is going.

EASTWOOD: Yes. If you are age seven and reading this book, you learn to respect your parents’ worldview and wishes but also why you need to open your mind to other people’s ideas. I tell them that if they have difficult circumstances, it is for a reason. There are ways to be happy no matter what is happening around them and you can make people feel good. You can do that with just a little knowledge, effort and the right worldview.

CLIENT: Be part of the solution?

EASTWOOD: Yes. That’s the idea, and if the book is circulated by those people who download it from my websites, it will have a great impact. We can heal division. We can be joyful and have what we want in life if we know how. I just want to tell people how it’s done. If everyone feels great and knows how to create their dreams, they are not going to commit suicide. Depression only happens when you apply the wrong thinking and worldview. If you feel powerless to change a world you see as being corrupt or beyond your reach and ability to change, you are going to bring on a depressed state of mind.

CLIENT: I see this pattern in what you do. You want to tell people why the current way of thinking doesn’t work, and you want to show them what does.

EASTWOOD: Exactly. If it helps the world then I have done some good, and I can be proud of that.

What is Causing Depression and Suicide in Children, Teens and Adults?

Among 10 to 12-year-olds in America, suicidal overdoses increased from 1,058 in 2010 to 5,606 in 2020 — a fivefold increase. Suicide has become the second leading cause of premature death among youth ages 10 to 24; and the leading cause of death among teens ages 13 to 14. Recent studies shows that the increase in suicide attempts started well before the pandemic.

Is the spread of ideas and socialization really the problem? Many have pointed to social media platforms used by teens, including Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Myspace and Tumblr, yet the deaths are correlated with rural regions where traditional values have a stronghold.

The U.S. Census reports most increases in the Northeast, Midwest, South and West.

More specifically, the Trevor Project in 2022 found that 45% of all LGBTQIA+ youth seriously considered suicide within the past year. Suicides amongst Black youth are also at risk.

Look at the facts. The highest teenage suicide rates are in Colorado (21.2 deaths per 100,000 youths), New Mexico (21.9), Montana (30.3), South Dakota (33.6), and Alaska with 39.8 deaths per 100,000 youths. These statistics come from the latest CDC data. The higher suicide rates are in the mountain states and specifically in rural and often isolated communities. Youth in these areas often do not even have internet access. Whereas in cities, where internet use is the highest, suicide rates are the lowest.

Relatively isolated groups, such as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, strongholds of evangelical Christian practice, Native Americans, and farmlands in the Great Plains have the highest teen suicide rates.

In these cultural strongholds traditional values and infrastructure limitations most strongly prevent teenagers from accessing social media and youth in these areas face more pressure to conform to traditional religious and gender roles. In these rural communities the gun culture is pronounced and teens may have difficulty finding others to socialize with. All of these factors increase the risk levels for taking one’s own life and all of these factors correlated with traditional values that are threatened by information gained through access to social media and the internet.

If anything, the solution is internet access rather than the reverse.

Traditional paradigms and values are what are causing depression and suicide in children, teens and adults. The internet is a tool to get out from under the ideas that are causing their depression and instead educate themselves and enjoy life.

We should be looking at belief systems rather than details such as “quality of experience when one is spending time viewing a phone.” The impact of cultural values has a far greater effect than any other isolated health factors. The problem is systemic.

Culture has attempted to disallow the powerful natural human being. The mainstream view denies the powerful good self and the desires of the natural self. There is a war on all things good and natural, powerful and constructive. Just take a look at “The Solution…” or in the free book I am offering to solve the problem of depression. You cannot read those books and be depressed at the same time.

PEN America, a free speech advocacy organization, identifies at least 50 different groups involved in local and state-level efforts to ban books. The wave of objecting to books has to do mostly with sexuality and LGBTQ people. Traditional beliefs that demonize natural desires and the natural human correlate with the above mentioned regions that have the highest teen suicide rates.

The book ban increase is due to a larger movement. Public objection to new ideas that threaten traditional values comes from conservative worldviews. Kids are glued to the internet and social media because they are attempting to find a way out of the hell they are in and in the rural bible belt communities there is no way out and so that is where suicide rates are the highest.

Contemporary psychology, which is based on physicalism, is focused on everything wrong with human nature. This causes more depression and suicide in children, teens and adults. I will not blame any particular group. The entire civilization is based on a firm premise in the unreliability of human nature. “I always had a strong desire to share what I was learning with the world to solve public problems and help people achieve their goals and dreams. After many years of studies and preparation I founded Earth Network of Altruistic, Autonomous Individuals Inc,  in August of 2000. But instead of a warm reception, I experienced resistance. “My action to solve world problems triggered the opposite energy and what I would need to learn more about in order to prevail in my mission. My altruistic mission triggered the emergence of ‘the dark energy’ that was holding humanity back.

“What happened to me was a public event. I cannot be blamed for what is a reaction to my work based on mass beliefs on which millions are drifting toward destruction. Public fears and biases are real, or we wouldn’t have certain public agencies that police and regulate us to death and so many obstacles to our happiness and success in the public world today.

“When I tried to help a family near Yale, agents in the government developed their own theory of ulterior motive because they couldn’t believe that a stranger would help people in the way I tried to do. Having no evidence of wrongdoing, they concocted a theory based on hearsay of hearsay from a felon. They used that theory to confiscated all my work designed to help people achieve their dreams, Earth Network of Altruistic, Autonomous Individuals Inc to solve world problems, my company stock and my book, “The Solution to All of Humanity’s Problems…“ (before it was published) and even my 100% solar heated and cooled home designs and modular solar system plans I labored on when I was in my teens.
